Downtown Art Walk Success
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Coral Forest artist reception at Preux & Proper. Doron Gazit, the artist, gave a great presentation on his art and environmental work. Doron has done art installations around the world from Santa Monica Beach to the Dead Sea. His current project, "Red Line" is currently being shown throughout Southern California. For those of you who missed Coral Forest, you can see it every Saturday at The Wall Farmer's Market in the flower district. We'd also like to thank our host Preux & Proper for a fantastic evening and delicious food. A must-try in the Fashion District!

Store Feature: Me Loreta
The Santee Alley is THE destination for trendy fashion, but our friends at Me Loreta are taking it to the next level. Me Loreta updates its merchandise to reflect not only what's in season but also upcoming events. For example, earlier this year the store was stocked with festival-inspired fashions. Now that summer is here, the store has the latest summer trends from lace-up dresses and rompers to bodysuits and crochet swimsuits. Urban Dinner Party Sponsorship Opportunities
Last October the LA Fashion District BID hosted the inaugural "Urban Dinner Party," an outdoor, fine dining pop-up. A table over 100-square-feet long was set up in the middle of Santee Street and Chef Felix Barron of KTCHN DTLA served a four-course meal for 100 guests. The sold-out event was featured in local media as well as The Huffington Post and was such a hit we are bringing it back this year.
The Fashion District BID will be hosting the 2nd annual LA Fashion District Presents: An Urban Party in October 2016. This year's event will be catered by Preux & Proper with a four-course meal as well as a beer tasting of local breweries. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations looking to reach the downtown fashion and residential communities. Download the event sponsorship deck here.
