In October, the LA Fashion District hosted "An Urban Dinner Party", a sold-out event where 120 guests dined on Santee Street. The event brought together Fashion District shoppers, buyers, residents, and stakeholders for an incredible evening of fine dining under the stars. Thank you to everyone who attended! Upcoming Holiday Events
Throughout the month of December the Fashion District BID will be holding several promotional events. We'll be kicking off the holiday celebrations TODAY with Santa Claus in Santee Alley. Santa will be taking selfies with shoppers and handing out candy canes while his little helpers give out free reusable shopping bags. In fact, the Fashion District is going green for the holidays. We will be giving out free reusable shopping bags on Sunday, December 6th at 9th and Broadway. Additional promotions and events will be announced on social media. Giving Back: LAPD Kids Event
For the 10th straight year, the LA Fashion District facilitated the distribution of two tons of candy for LAPD's annual holiday event at local schools. The Fashion District maintains a close relationship with Vons who donates the candy, and LAPD gives it to local school children along with shoes and other holiday gifts.
Officers from Headquarters, Central, Rampart, Hollenbeck, Newton Northeast, Hollywood, Olympic, and 77th Divisions participate each year. It's a great way to give back to our local community during the holiday season.

BID Board Election Ballots Due Monday, Dec. 7 by 5 p.m.
Don't forget to vote! The BID Board Election ballots are due Monday, December 7, 2015 by 5 p.m. Ballots must be received in the office by the deadline. Mailed ballots that arrive after December 7th will not be accepted. If you still need to submit your ballot you can do so by mailing, faxing, or hand delivering the ballot to our administrative office. Our contact information is listed below for your convenience.

2016 Market Date Changes
Multifamily Energy Efficiency Rebate from SoCal Gas
Fashion District property owners can now take advantage of energy efficiency rebates from SoCal Gas. Rebates are available for existing multifamily rental properties with five units or more and are based on the purchase of equipment products with efficiency standards higher than code. Current and past purchases are eligible for the rebates. Click here to learn more.
