Business Survey Update

The LA Fashion District BID is conducting a door to door survey of street level businesses in the 100-block district. We are including retail and wholesale stores and showrooms that are open to the street in multi-level buildings. It's a big job and we expect it to take several weeks to complete. The results will be uploaded to the BID's Searchable Directory on our website at www.fashiondistrict.org.
This is a free service - - there is no charge to post your store/showroom information on our website!
Please help our survey staff by answering their questions - if the information you give them is complete then potential shoppers and buyers will be better able to find your store or showroom. Questions? Call Lynn at (213) 488-1153 x 713 or Ariana at (213) 488-1153 x 718.

Broadway Dress Rehearsal Work Continues
Contractors will lay down "goo" and the decomposed granite overlay starting Monday 4/28 and finishing no later than Friday 5/9/2014. Crews will work daily from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to repair underlying surface before applying a "Tac Coat" sticky mixture which will adhere a one-quarter inch (1/4") decomposed granite overlay to the roadbed in the "ped areas." Construction is primarily on the west side of the street, with contractors crossing over to the east side to tackle small portions at the intersections on the east side. The single southbound lane will be maintained and crews will utilize existing parking stalls to park their equipment and lay down the surface block by block. At this time, it is anticipated the contractor will work north to south, starting at 3rd and ending at 11th Street.
