Broadway Dress Rehearsal Construction UPDATE

Please PLAN on congestion for the next two weeks from April 7 - 19 during weekdays and Saturdays on Broadway between 3rd Street and Olympic Blvd.

Starting Thursday night April 3rd and finishing Saturday April 5th crews will begin shot-blasting and cleaning crosswalks.

Starting Monday April 7th crews will work from 9am to 3:30pm to concrete slurry seal the crosswalks to repair cracks and level the walking surface.

Shot-blasting and cleaning will occur at night.  Concrete slurry work must occur during the day due to noisy machinery.

COMING UP:  In coming weeks, the paving treatment for new pedestrian areas, and adjacent flexible posts, will be installed starting 4/28 after Fiesta Broadway; high visibility white crosswalks lines will be installed at night during April/May/June; planters with vegetation will line the corridor in July/August; and parking meters, tables, chairs and umbrellas will be delivered and installed in mid August.

Impacts and closures will be minimized as much as possible, but will be unavoidable at times, so stay tuned for notifications.  Thank you for your patience as the Broadway corridor undergoes this remarkable transformation.
