The clip highlights the free parking and paid purchases happening in the district. Safe Team Officer Alonso did a fantastic job of representing the LA Fashion District on camera. The clip aired Sunday morning, but can be viewed on the Today Show website, here.
NBC responded to a press release put out by the BID and shot the clip on Saturday afternoon. Our Public Information Coordinator, Ariana Gomez, responded to the request from NBC and arranged the filming for the show... Continue Reading.

Pay It Forward LA Gets National Attention
Univision was also in the district on Saturday filming a 3-minute special segment on the campaign, which airs Monday, December 23rd. Jomari Goyso of "A La Moda Con Jomari" payed it forward to Santee Alley shoppers and asks them to join in the district's campaign to "Pay It Forward LA". The production team at Univision made a very rare exception in filming this special segment as a thank you to the BID for facilitating filming of the show in Santee Alley all year.
The Fashion District's Random Acts of Kindness campaign will continue through this week. Be on the lookout for Safe Team Officers Brown and Alonso as they pay for shoppers' parking and give out gift cards throughout the district. New Historic Commercial Reuse GuidelinesThe new guidelines are expected to help fill more than one million square feet of empty upper-floor space on the historic corridor. The new guidelines offer a clear roadmap for developers and property owners with specific interpretations of the California Historic Building Code for use in the City of Los Angeles. LA Streetcar UpdateURS has a proven track record of working on some of the biggest streetcar projects in the nation.
