Preserve the Pensions
Donate Today!

SCGS has accepted the challenge and joined the FGS  project to preserve the fragile records of the War of 1812 Pensions through digitization.

In support of this monumental task, SCGS will match, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, the first $2500 donated by members, Jamboree guests and others. So far we have raised $1,536.

Your $50 donation is matched by SCGS, then matched by Ancestry, then matched by FGS, to become a donation of $200, allowing 444 pages of documents to be digitized.

Donate here. Note on your donation that this is for the 1812 Pension Project.
