Slide into Sleep
It is my intention to cease all busyness and work-related activity an hour prior to going to bed. Having a quiet time for reflection or inspirational reading slows my mind and allows me to slide into Reiki self-treatment and sleep more easily. I confess, in actuality, I often look at the time and find I'm still at my computer long past my intended bedtime. When that happens, I've discovered that sending someone else distant Reiki before I begin treating myself enables me to quiet my mind more quickly. My grandson Cy is often the recipient of

these brief sessions. By the time I've sent him Reiki for 15 or 20 minutes and begin giving myself Reiki, I'm more receptive to self-treatment and am able to relax and fall asleep more easily. Note: These brief sessions are not to be confused with an official distant Reiki session, which is scheduled just as a hands-on treatment is and typically lasts for an hour or longer.

I Am Alive You see I am alive You see I stand in good relation to the earth. You see I stand in good relation to the gods. You see I stand in good relation to all that is beautiful. You see I stand in good relation to you. I am alive. I am alive. I am alive.

Ready to be Healed
Clients come to me with conditions ranging from stress, tension, emotional distress and physical pain to chronic illness, trauma, and terminal cancer. Their desires for treatment vary as widely as the conditions that bring them.
Some seek stress reduction and temporary relief from physical symptoms. Others are seeking deep healing on an emotional level, and still others use Reiki as a means of spiritual transformation.
As a practitioner, I strive to put aside all judgement about what the client "needs to have healed" or "should want healed" and simply be the most open channel possible for whatever is ready to be healed, knowing that Reiki never forces healing, but gently provides exactly what is needed for each client. For an appointment, call 206.523.4456 or email.
