PLEASE CONSIDER BEING A PART OF EMS'S PARENT & TEACHER COMMUNITY THROUGH SUPPORTING THE PTA MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN

It is our PRIMARY SOURCE of funding for the programs, activities and educational opportunities provided to all students at our school.

As a parent volunteer group we spend over $100 per child each year on activities, events, and resources.

With shrinking budgets, increased class sizes, Government mandates... schools are challenged to continue to deliver quality education and opportunities for students to explore and expand their thinking.  We can make a difference with your help. Please join and help us climb closer to our goal of 100% participation.

Thank you for your consideration

PRINCIPAL'S GRADE LEVEL MEETINGS
6th Grade - October 5 at 8:30 am
7th Grade - October 6 at 8:30 am
8th Grade - October 7 at 8:30 am
INFORMATION
Absences: Please call the office at 203-637-1744 by 7:45 am to report your child's absence. Non-medical extended absences of more than three days require an extended absence form from the main office. Teachers are not responsible for preparing student work under this condition; completion required upon return to school with teacher supervision. It remains the student's responsibility to inform teachers of their absences and meet with them upon their return regarding make-up work.

Early Dismissal for Personal Reasons: If you need to pick your child up early, please send a note with them to the main office in the morning. Dismissals or bus passes are by note only, no voice messages please. Please do not leave early dismissal messages on the attendance voicemail. It is understandable that last minute appointments cannot be avoided, however the main office tries as much as possible not to disrupt the classrooms. Emergencies excepted of course.

GatorBytes, EMS Parent Newsletter, is published on Friday each week. Deadline for submissions is 3pm on Wednesday of the week.  All submissions should be sent to
communications.emspta@gmail.com.
