FROM THE CEO: Gina M. Jaeger Welcome to the November 2013 edition of Who's on First! Yesterday, we celebrated the 153 Anniversary of Juliette Gordon Low's birth - who was recognized by the National Board of Girl Scouts on the eve of her death as "...not only the first Girl Scout, but the best Girl Scout of them all." As we continue into the Second Century of Girl Scouting, it is important to honor the rich past of Juliette's vision as we look toward the opportunities and promises of the future - reaping the benefits of our shared Girl Scout experiences because of Juliette's gift to each of us. Thank you and Happy Birthday, Juliette!
In addition to all the valuable information contained in this issue, you will find a National Delegate Application form attached here. If you are not a current operational volunteer, and are18 years old or older, please consider applying for this fantastic opportunity. - Attend the meeting of the National Council of GSUSA
- Assist the Council Board in gathering input from GSCCC members concerning the national proposals prior to the meeting of the National Council of GSUSA

And finally, please take a moment to watch the video CONGRATULATIONS the council received - which means you, too! - from Anna Maria Chavez, national CEO of GSUSA. GSCCC was one of only 21 councils who experienced membership growth in 2013. I am proud of our staff, of course, but I am proud of all of you as well. We could not do what we do without all of you! Thank you for all you do for the Girl Scout Movement!
Sincerely,
Gina
