Artemis

A fun and life-enriching week

awaits you in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains...

Where girls lead girls toward the mastery of skills for life through the 11 skills of leadership.

The program of Camp Artemis is based on leadership development in an outdoor setting with backpacking, sleeping in a personal tent, archery, swimming, leadership skill-building and making new friends:

  • Courage (Phase I): to try new things (outdoor skills), to make new friends, and to strive to fully participate as part of a group
  • Confidence (Phase II): to continue to challenge oneself with harder skills, and to learn how to lead a group
  • Character (Phase III): to learn to move beyond oneself, to be independent, and to lead a group with honesty, fairness and inclusiveness

Experienced and trained Girl Scout Leaders closely and continually monitor all elements of daily activities.  Registration closes June 15.  Orientation "O-Day" is June 22.
