GSCCC Girl Scouts! Submit your photo + caption showcasing how Girl Scouts and MILK has helped you become strong, healthy and confident, and you could be one of three Girl Scouts in California featured in a GOT MILK? print campaign and win a $500 U.S. Savings Bond!!
Three finalists from each California council will win a $350 camp/travel scholarship*!
The first 1,000 Girl Scouts from throughout the state who submit their entries will receive a GOT MILK? fun patch.
Rules and regs must be followed, see the links and press release below for more information. *GSCCC will be the recepient of the camp/travel scholarship funds for usage by the three GSCCC finalists. 2013 Girl Scout Registration required for contest entry validation.
PHOTO CONTEST HIGHLIGHTS
- Registered Girl Scouts in the State of California must submit a photo and a caption now through December 17, relating to how Girl Scouts and MILK has helped the entrant become strong, healthy and confident. The Girl Scout + DAIRY MILK must be in the photo, and a caption of no more than eight words must be included with the photo. Creativity and uniqueness are key!
- Megan Weber, the red-haired Girl Scout who appeared in the first campaign 15 years ago will travel the state and conduct interviews about the benefits of Girl Scouting in honor of the 15th Anniversary of the campaign, and the Girl Scout centennial.
- Three girls from each California council will win a $350 camp(travel) scholarship as finalists. Each council will select their own judges for this portion of the campaign.Top finalists will be selected in early January 2013.
- First 1,000 entries from throughout the state will receive a GOT MILK? fun patch.
- From the pool of 24 finalists, three girls will be chosen as the Grand Prize winners and appear in the next GOT MILK? print campaign, along with winning a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. The California Milk Processor Board sponsor and its agency will judge the finalists. Announcement scheduled for February 2013.
