Feb 14-21, 2015

I'm thrilled to repeat this trip in 2015!

I will be joined by two wonderful people, Franco & Kay, from Global Journeys. They've led spiritual and wellness trips to Costa Rica for over 12 years. They know all the special spots!

Together we've planned a spectacular adventure for you. Please join me for fun in the jungle with all types of critters!

Sorry, but apparently the links were not working in the previous email so I'm sending this again with new links. Check out the Costa Rica trip website and let me know what you think!

Greetings!

I recently had a powerful experience working with students and learning from my animals friends on the topic of MOVING THROUGH CHANGES. And, I wanted to share their wisdom with you.

In working with people all day long each week, I find that many individuals are going through rapid life changes. Some good, some not so good. Some happy, some sad. So my motto to live by has become... put on your seat belt because the changes are happening whether we like it or not.

Fortunately, the animals in our lives hold us tight with their love, helping us get through life's challenges with as much courage, grace and ease as possible. Your animals are always there for you!

Here are wise words from animals near and dear to my heart...

Josephine Rabbit was dumped in a field that was home to coyotes 11 years ago in Colorado. A friend caught her and brought her my way. She's living happily ever after and is now 14 (most rabbits live 8-12 years). Recently she experienced a stroke that caused paralysis in her right rear leg. She became very weak and was dying. As she embraced her circumstances, she found new strength and rallied. Within a week she returned to her feisty self with only a small limp remaining.
Josephine

Her message for all:

"I'm old but not done. When done happens, that will be all that happens. Body will stop. Spirit will soar".

Dillon is a sweet boy who was hit by a car and left to die by the side of the road. A Good Samaritan scooped him up and found a veterinarian who helped him at no cost. He lost his right rear leg and survived. Shortly after recovering, he was adopted by a dear woman whom he loved for five years until she passed away suddenly when he was 9 years old. Then, I was lucky enough to welcome him into my home.

 Dillon's message:

"Each moment is it's own journey. The past is complete. Look around at what is and live from there."

Maisie is a precious and determined kitty that came shouting her way to the front of my house. "Hey, where am I? And, why am I here?" After talking with her I learned she had been dumped. She was furious. There was no good way to explain to her why she was suddenly homeless. But what I could do was promise her I would help. My neighbor across the street gave her food and shelter at night while I worked on finding her a new home. Each day she would march up and down our street and walk up to everyone that passed by, crying and yowling her frustrations while rubbing on them lovingly. Maisie now lives with very dear friends of mine along with their young dog and new kitten. She not only is safe and loved but she is having more fun than she ever knew was possible!

Maisie's wisdom:

"Be true to who you are no matter what happens to you. Always be the best you can be. Through determination your light will shine. The rest will unfold."

May you enjoy a lovely Autumn Equinox and gently move into the changes that lie ahead.

Bright Blessings, ~Terri
