Greetings!
Ho Ho Ha Ha! Life has played quite the trick on me this month, sending me a stomach virus, an ear infection, and bronchitis! Being sick certainly tested my pledge to choose happiness on a daily basis! And it has made me realize that, sometimes, life is hard, days are difficult, and smiles are few and far between.
Join me on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 7 PM to talk a little bit about how (and when) humor helps us heal and what types of things we can do to help us cope when dealing with stressful situations.
We will round out the night with Laughter exercises to release those "feel-good" endorphins and take home a special surprise to help inspire us on a daily basis. |

 Our March Meeting
We started off the night with a real opportunity to laugh as we realized we were locked out of the building. As we waited for the key to be located, I became the Laughter Car Hop, going car to car taking "laughter orders" and just laughing for no reason with each group. Many thanks to the Jamesburg PD who helped us out, arriving, just in time, like the cavalry, to deliver the key. Everyone pitched in to help set up the room and we dived right into the night's happiness workshop - Being Present in the Moment. We also had a great Laughter Yoga session, complete with a rousing rendition of the HA HA HO HO dance.

 World Laughter Day - Sunday, May 5, 2013
We'll be celebrating World Laughter Day on Sunday, May 5, 2013 with a free Introductory Laughter Yoga Session for all ages in Jamesburg. Details will be announced soon, and I will send out a special email.

National Humor Month
National Poetry Month
April is both National Humor Month AND National Poetry Month. It seems the perfect time for a funny poem. Funny poems are often written as a limerick. Here is one of my favorites:
A flea and a fly in a flue
Were imprisoned, so what could they do?
Said the fly, "let us flee!"
"Let us fly!" said the flea.
So they flew through a flaw in the flue.

Why don't you take some time to find a funny poem to share with your family and friends this month? Or even write your own limerick - here is even a line you can start with:

The parking lot is poorly lit, and our meeting is in the basement of the building, the entrance at the rear, right side. I will be putting a sign out front so it is easier to find! We are hoping for improved lighting soon!
