A blog from John O'Leary
John O'Leary2

While speaking at an event in Dallas, John O'Leary had the opportunity to meet Glenn McDuffie, the sailor from the V-J Day in Times Square famous kissing picture. Glenn had sign a picture for the auction so he decided to make an appearance.  GDA's Christie Rentzel was there to capture this special moment.  John later went on to write a blog about the lessons he learned from Glenn.  Click Here to read the blog.

A Note From GDA President, Gail Davis
Everyone should book John O'Leary. He has a powerful message and is a very authentic speaker.

Our database contains over 4,000 speakers. I will only make a bold statement of absolute endorsement on those whom are deserving.

John O'Leary was first brought to my attention by one of my YPO St. Louis clients, Donn Lux. He really encouraged me to meet John, so I invited John to come to my office. I have many speaker visits. It is nice to meet a speaker in person but unless I hear them speak live, it is hard to truly understand their message.

A few months later in September of 2009, I got another email raving about John O'Leary. This time it was from another YPO member in Los Angeles, Ed Bagdasarian. Here is the text of his email:

Why John O'Leary?
John O'Leary is proof of the power of the human spirit. As a nine-year-old boy, he was burned on 100% of his body and given less than one percent chance to survive. He endured months in the hospital, years in therapy, dozens of surgeries, and lost all of his fingers to amputation. Despite the odds, he overcame those challenges.
John's story is one that you do not want to miss and one that you will never forget.  What he has overcome is remarkable.  GDA is constantly hearing, "Best speaker I've ever heard" and  "Incredible!" You will leave his presentation moved and inspired.
