St. John's Begins Flower Guild
Do you have an interest in flowers and a creative 'itch' that needs to be scratched? A group of congregation members have formed the St. John's Flower Guild and welcome any and all parishioners to participate. We are working in small teams with one experienced 'arranger' leading each team. So you don't need to be a professional flower arranger! All you need is an interest in having fun while providing creative and unique arrangements to enhance our worship space each week.
Each team commits to arranging flowers for a Sunday every month or two. That usually means gathering/purchasing flowers during the week and arranging on Saturday for the Sunday service. Each team divides up the work according to the time and skills of the team members.
If you would like to become part of a Flower Guild team or, if you just want to hang out some Saturday to see the arranging 'process' before making a commitment, contact Linda Buchanan in the parish hall between 10:00 and 11:00 on Sunday or by phone (443-852-1782) or email.
