Mavia Hudgins celebrated her 90th birthday in the company of friends and family at Province Place last week. Thanks to Megan Timm, Clifford King Harbin, and all those who pitched in to provide this birthday ministry.

We need your recipes in the St. John's Cookbook

St John's Cookbook needs your help to get completed!  Let's try to finish this month, August!!  Currently 45 recipes have been submitted... we need a lot more recipes... we need 300-400 for a cookbook.  If everyone could enter/submit 5-10 recipes (or more) we should be able to make our goal.  I know there are many wonderful cooks at St John's.  Think about recipes you love to make and share with others.  To enter recipes online, see instructions here.    If you're not able to enter recipes online, please place a written copy of your recipe in the Crock Pot in the parish hall... someone on the cookbook committee will enter it for you.   Brenda Wolter
