SynerTel client San Francisco Playhouse is presenting a new twist on the classic musical
Camelot explores reaching for social and personal ideals in a world of imperfect humans. It features some of the most memorable Broadway songs in American musical history. Director Bill English has set Camelot in the dark ages, when the world was mostly governed by ignorance. King Arthur's ideas and ideals come into stark conflict with the prevailing wisdom.

Oakland's WoodMinster Summer Musicals under the direction of Joel Schader presents A Chorus Line August 8th-18th at Woodminster Amphitheater, 3300 Joaquin Miller Road in Oakland.
Chorus Line is a celebration of those unsung heroes of the American Musical Theatre-the chorus dancers, those valiant, overdedicated, underpaid, highly trained performers who back up the star or stars and often make them look even more talented than they are. Chorus Line takes the audience through the final grueling audition for a new Broadway musical. During this audition, the 16 finalists are pared down to 8 cast members. A rare departure from the usual glossy backstage musical, A Chorus Line presents a true picture of what it's like to be in the theatre -- the heartbreak as well as the triumph, in song, dance, and monologue.
Bring a picnic (and warm clothes if the fog rolls in) to enjoy in this fabulous park of redwoods ... then enjoy the show in the magnificant outdoor amphitheater.
