GO is THE

"go to" organization

"Using GO InterNational to plan and organize our church's mission trips just makes sense," said Cameron Winton, Director of Growing Deep Ministries at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Panama City, FL.

As the driving force for her church's mission program, Cameron said handling the administrative duties for trips would be a burden. "By using GO, I don't have to worry about the research and most of the leg work. I just have to deal with the individuals going on the trip and make sure all details are in order from our end.

"GO takes the lead in making certain the trips are perfectly planned and executed. That makes a huge difference. It's stressful enough in youth ministry, for example, to get all the students ready and where they need to be without having to deal with travel arrangements and other details. GO takes that stress away."

"I majored in missions at Asbury University, and that has been my heart and background since I was a youth." She now has her Master's in Counseling and worked in the recovery program at Woodlawn before moving into her current position. "We took our last trip in 2006, to Nicaragua; and we're restructuring our program now, to put "feet on the ground" and do more than just give money.

"Our next trip will be to Belize in January 2015, and GO is so easy and outstanding to work with," she said.

Cameron first went on a mission trip with Bert Jones, GO President and CEO, when he was pastor of her church in Alabama. "I was called to the ministry after that first trip," she added. "It was life changing for me. I had been wrestling with what God wanted me to do, and I sensed His call on my life during that trip.

"I have long been thankful for that opportunity and look forward to working with GO in the future.

Sincerely,

Bob Owen,
