Trinidad Team from Ohio Christian University
Greetings!

The Great Spring Break 2.0 began with a bang as the students of Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio embarked on their adventure to Trinidad in March.

This is the 2nd year  GO has taken group of college students to the island where they were hosted by Trinidad and Tobago Urban Ministries and Pastor Ashoke Bachew.

My daughter, Allyson, and I along with Todd Johns led this team in various evangelistic and service outreaches.

We worshipped and fellowshipped with local Trinidadian believers and shared the gospel at a variety of places around the island. We went to two secondary schools, a primary school, a small orphanage, a rehabilitation center for men, a boys prison, an elderly home, various work projects around the ministry compound. We also conducted a Bible camp in a Hindu village every evening after our day activities.

According to Todd Johns, "Answered prayer and trusting in God were two of the major things we saw happening on this trip. As God stretched the students, the team became closer to each other.

Allyson said "We all grew closer and were able to get to know each other on a deeper level. Since we've been back, we've been having weekly dinner and prayer together. It is amazing how God is faithful to bring us together when we work toward the same goal. We definitely saw Him that at work in our team on this trip."

One of the most encouraging things we saw was an increased passion and willingness to serve. In May, Todd Johns will be leading a trip to San Jose, Costa Rica to assist a ministry that is combating human trafficking. Three students from OCU have already signed up to go.

I am thrilled to see young people seeking God's heart for the world.

Your support is what make all this possible Thank you helping us continue this ministry.

Rich blessings to you!
