On the GO in Costa Rica

In many parts of the world prostitution is legal and human trafficking is a daily occurrence. It is a sad thing to consider, but it is a reality in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Todd Johns, our director of InterNational Ministries and I traveled to San Jose in December to work out a new partnership that will focus on helping to defend, provide shelter, train, and love people of all ages who are trapped in human trafficking and prostitution.

We can no longer sit by as this terrible tragedy plays out on the streets of the world. We cannot solve this problem easily, but we have to begin somewhere. This partnership is a start. Our partners there are well connected to the police and national leaders who want to eliminate human trafficking in their country. We are encouraged by this new ministry and how they are addressing this serious issue.

Todd will be leading a team to Costa Rica May 20-26, 2014.  It will be a great time to be the hands and feet of Christ and taking His unconditional love to the hurting and lost on the streets of San Jose, Costa Rica. Please join us in this effort. If you know someone who is passionate about trying to stop human trafficking, please forward them this email.

For more information about the trip, check out our website here. Please consider joining the team in May. God bless you!
