Dear Chamber Members,
In the upcoming months, the Chamber will be focusing on member services to demonstrate how important our members are to the existence and continued success of the Chamber. As a membership organization, we have to make sure that we are providing a "return on investment" for our members. At the recent planning retreat, the Board of Directors spent a lot of time discussing and brainstorming about ways that we can make sure our members see and know what that return is. You will see a concerted effort to ensure that each Chamber program and event is an investment opportunity for our members.
One of the most important activities in growing a business is growing relationships, and as a member of the Chamber, you are presented with many opportunities to get involved. I encourage you to make a commitment over these next few months to attend a Business After Hours, a Chamber breakfast event, the Taste of Camden event or any other Chamber hosted event that you've never attended or haven't attended in a while. I can almost assure you that you'll meet someone you haven't met before (or be reconnected with someone you haven't seen in a while) and you'll be glad that you went. Keep in mind that statistics confirm that people do business with people they know, like and trust.
I am excited about the direction that the Chamber is moving and look forward to being a part of growing your business!
