Jenefer Israel, Program Specialist It has been my long held desire to work in a position where I can help others especially those in crisis and those suffering through domestic violence experiences. An opportunity arose last December which allowed me to volunteer with Operation Care; I was later hired to fill the position of Program Specialist. As a Program Specialist with Operation Care I am able to offer victims of Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault invaluable programs that can be specific to their individual needs such as sheltering in our safe house, peer-counseling, court room or emergency room advocacy, transitional housing options and many other programs provided by local, state and federal grants. I am truly thankful to be working with the Operation Care organization together with its amazing fabric of volunteers, board members and community supporters. |
