A NOTE FROM THE
PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD

Is it March already? Well, that does mean that the Operation Care board members have been working hard with the staff preparing for our two spring events. March 28th brings you the third annual "Amador's Got Talent" dinner and show. See this newsletter for all the details about how you can join us!

May 30th will bring our Spring Fling dinner with music and dancing. There will be more about this event in a future newsletter.

Did you know that our monthly board meetings are open to the public? We'd love to have you join us on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Call the office at 223-2897 or me at 267-0937 for more information.

All of us on the board are looking  forward to seeing you at these upcoming events. So mark your calendars for Saturday, March 28th and Saturday, May 30th.

Your continued support allows us to help all the men, women and children who come to us. Thank you!

Thank You for Making Color Madness 2015
A HUGE SUCCESS!

Operation Care and the Go! Youth Program's third annual Color Madness fun run was a huge success this year despite the torrential rain early in the morning. The weather actually broke just long enough for our event! 273 participants joined together and raised over $2,000, while having the time of their lives. This event is geared towards teens and their parents in an effort to raise awareness of teen dating violence in our community and across the nation. We presented statistics and discussed Operation Care's services. Participants were encouraged to visit our booth and create signs that depicted what a happy and healthy relationship feels like to them, then the race began in a flurry of purple and orange color bombs. Runners started first, followed by the walkers. So much fun!
