A NOTE FROM TAMMIE

Happy New Year! I hope you
enjoyed the holidays and you're off
to a great 2015! Here at Operation
Care we have hit the ground
running and we are excited for all
of the events, campaigns and
programs we have planned for this new year.

The month of February will be
devoted to teen dating violence
awareness, and helping teens to
understand and develop healthy
relationships. We have lots of fun
events for teens and adults, so I
hope you'll join us in one or more of
our activities. All the details are in
this newsletter and on our website
or facebook events  page.

Be sure to mark your calendar for
our third annual Amador's Got
Talent show on March 28th. It
promises to be a fun-filled,
entertaining event, and the
proceeds will help Amador's most
vulnerable. We'll send all the
details in our next newsletter.

Wishing you a safe and peaceful
year ahead.

Dating violence is more common than many people think.

One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults. That's why February is Teen DV Month. It's a national effort to raise awareness about abuse in teen and 20-something relationships and promote programs that prevent it. To learn more about what YOU can do to help,  CLICK HERE ...
