  Cookie Booth Locations for Metro KC

Did you know we still have over 900 cookie booth opportunities in the Metro KC area to choose from? First come, first serve booth reservation is open and available to troops in the metro Kansas City area.


To schedule log in to Snap, hover over the cookies icon, hover over booth scheduler from the drop down and click "Schedule a Booth OR Lottery Request." The list of locations will open. Please note: the zip code search function is not working at this time. If you click on "city" the cities will group together in alphabetical order and you can see the locations available. Click on a location (forward the calendar to March) and see dates of availability. If you mouse over "available" you'll see times available. 


See something you like? Double click on available and a pop up screen will appear. Click "TroopFCFSReserve" next to the time you want and confirm. You should receive an email from shortly after confirming.

Go Gold Workshop - East Region

Attention all Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts!  Are you interested in becoming one of the 6% of Girl Scouts who earn the Gold Award? Come and learn about the Girl Scout Gold Award at the Go Gold Workshop.   The workshop covers the requirements of the award, submission deadlines, tips and tricks for planning a successful project, and more. Attending a workshop is the absolute best way to get ready to Go Gold! The workshop is required and is for both girls and advisors / parents.


The next workshop is Sunday, February 2 at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, Missouri from 2:00-4:00 pm. Visit our website to register. More dates to come.

If you are a high school senior and are interested being considered for this scholarship, the February 1, 2014 deadline for applications is rapidly approaching.

 Is Your Girl Scout Ready to Explore the World?

Girl Scout destinations  are travel adventures, which range from two days to three weeks and are for all Girl Scouts ages 11-17, whisk girls to the far corners of the Earth.  They'll meet remarkable peers, develop leadership skills, gain confidence, and enjoy valuable learning opportunities. Girls will have the most unforgettable trip of their life!


While the early application date has past, it is not too late for girls to apply for destinations.  Click here for the application and more information

 Volunteer Training Expo - March 1 in Topeka

Calling all troop leaders, assistant leaders and service unit volunteers - join us for a day of fun and skill-building at the Volunteer Training Expo on March 1!


We will be offering our day camp training, grade level trainings, getting ready for summer camp, STEM, Journeys Live and so much more!  Our GS Shop will be there and great networking with other volunteers just like you.

Geocaching Training on March 15

Are your Girl Scouts interested in geocaching while at camp this spring?  Take the adult geocaching training to learn how to facilitate a geocaching adventure while at camp, or out in your community.  


Completion of the training will allow you to check hand-held GPS units out from the council office so you can use them with your girls.  Click here to register for the training on March 15 at Camp Prairie Schooner.

Day Camp team training will be held Saturday, February 22 in Shawnee, Kansas, Saturday, March 1 in Topeka, Kansas or Saturday, March 29 in Liberty, Missouri. Choose one of the trainings most convenient for you.
