Cookies Take 2 | |
As you've heard by now, we need your help. We're below our Cookie Program goal by approximately 57,000 cases, and we hope to close that gap with Cookies Take 2!
For late-forming troops that didn't get a chance to sell, or for troops that would like to continue to sell cookies after the holidays, this is a great way for troops to earn funds for upcoming activities.
Troops can earn $.75 per box and can return up to 10% of the cookies they check out after January 2, 2013. Orders for cookies may be placed in SNAP beginning December 24.

| Activity and Travel Approval | |
Troops are doing a really great job with the new activity and travel approval process, so just one last reminder about the timeframe for your submission.
For overnights, day drips outside the council boundaries and high-risk activities, applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks in advance of your planned activity. See the Activity and Trip Guide for more information. |
| Make Your Own Badge | |
Did you know that you can help your Girl Scouts make their own badge? Once a year, girls can choose something they want to learn to do, take the steps to complete and then design the badge.
Make Your Own Badge can be done individually and a holiday break might provide a nice time for girls to participate in this activity. More information about the "five steps" girls will complete to earn your badge can be found in the badge section of the Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting.
