May 13, 2016
Hello

I hope you were able to make it to our Health and Wellness meet up yesterday. Don't forget next week is everyone's favorite Chamber event, Shameless Self Promotion. Come showcase your business and let our community know how awesome you are! This is a lunch event that will be held at the Fremont Abbey. Come eat and learn about other great businesses right here in your community. Don't forget to Register

It's going to be another gorgeous day. Something about nice weather always gives me energized and inspires me to get out of the house. If you're feeling that vibe then why not go see some live music! Stone Way Cafe, Nectar Lounge, and Fremont Abbey are all hosting concerts tonight. Have you seen the play Collaborator yet at West of Lenin? It's a one-woman show about the loneliness in intimacy and consent. Cass, a perturbed actor in a search for truth, welcomes the audience into her bed and her psyche as she rationalizes her thirst for attention with her personal boundaries. Be sure to get your tickets.

For all you  brew drinkers out there this week, May 12-22, is Seattle Beer Week. The Fremont Brewery, Red Door, Norm's, Brouwer's, Miir Flagship, and Outlander Brewery are all participating in the festivities. From beer and food paring to scavenger hunts and everything in between, you can be sure to find a way to drink and be merry this week. I've linked each establishment to their event page on Seattle Beer Weeks website, so get your calendar organized before you get too tipsy.

Have a great weekend!
