Hello  -

I hope you've had a fantastic week. As you may know it's the first Friday of the Month which means Fremont Art Walk! Lots of Fremont businesses will be contributing to art walk today, check out a list of venue locations here to map your route. Storybook Theater will also be debuting their showing of Jack and the Beanstalk this weekend at Hale's Palladium, so be sure to get your tickets.

If you are looking for a place to watch the democratic debates this Sunday, come to Stone Way Cafe. They will be hosting a phone bank pre-debate to call key states, so come by at 5 pm if you want to help the cause! If you an in the industry biz be sure to come to the Barrel Thief Sunday evening after the debates for their very first Sunday Industry Night. This is an opportunity to service and hospitality industry professionals to meet, socialize, learn, and be celebrated for the hard work they do. Look forward to this becoming a Sunday tradition.

Tuesday of this week the Woodland Park Zoo will host their event Thrive at the Westin Hotel. Come before work at 7:30 am to learn how our zoo is protecting animals and their habitats around the world. Thrive guests will discover how Woodland Park Zoo's style of animal care, conservation and education is a unique, holistic approach to promoting the health of our planet. Contact Susan Okazaki to RSVP. The Zoo is also holding a survey right now to get the community's input in planning its next major exhibit. Fill out this survey before April 8 to share your thoughts and potentially win a prize!

Friendly reminder, if you are an East Side commuter that March 5 & 6 crews plan to close the eastbound SR 520 on-ramp from Lake Washington Boulevard and the right lane of eastbound SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard and Foster Island from 5 am Saturday to 10 am Sunday. Information on detours and updates can be found here

Have a great weekend!
