Hello  -

Well January just flew by and I can't believe it's my last day with the Fremont Chamber!! Eek! I have met so many good people in Fremont and the last eight years have been some of the best of my life. I am excited to go on to new adventures and I am sure I will be in touch with many of you as I move on -- as a matter of fact, I would love to connect with you all on LinkedIn!!

But I am super happy to introduce my new team at the Fremont Chamber. At the core of the team is Caroline Sherman, who has been working with me at the Fremont Chamber for over two years and is known to many of you for her calls and emails about membership renewal. Caroline will be expanding her role and working with Lydia Minehan-Tubic, and Trisha Rarey to ensure your member benefits are still in tact and working for you! Lydia will be taking on the weekly Friday Blast -- which actually she has been working on for a few weeks now. And she will be working on the marketing and will continue the "Fremont Tech Walks" for the chamber too. Trisha will focus on our monthly programed meetings ensuring there are still plenty of face-to-face events for you to connect with others in Fremont.

Have a great weekend!

Hello Fremont-

My name is Lydia Minehan-Tubic, and as Jessica mentioned I am the new editor of the Weekly Friday Blast. It's been an absolute pleasure working with Jessica and we are all sad to see her go, but she made sure to leave you all in good hands. I look forward to connecting with many of you out in the community.

Things seem to be picking up now that we are creeping out of the month of January.
ReAct Theater has decide to extend their production of Prelude to a Kiss until February 7th, so there's still time to catch it if you haven't! The Fremont Arts Council is also hard at work and having fun preparing for Petit Troll. Stop by the Powerhouse and help them prepare at one of their many workshops, and become a member today

Tons of live music this week happening at Nectar Lounge, Stone Way Cafe, and the Fremont Abbey. Put on your dancing pants for one of those events or if you're needing more direction stop by Salsa con Todos and Balance Studio for one or more of their dance workshops this week.

If you have a project you've been meaning to finalize contact Minuteman Press, our featured business of the week. The best part is they have 24 hours access and customer service, so even if you are reading this late at night and realizing you need to print a project for tomorrow, send it their way!

If any of you have news, events, pictures, or anything else you would like shared in the Friday Blast, send 'em over.

I look forward to meeting you!
