First, I want to wish each and every one of you a very happy and blessed Easter this Sunday. May your journey through this Holy Week be one of great significance to you. The Legend of the Passion Flower Vine

The Passion Flower Vine  

is called so because it represents  

the suffering of Christ on the cross.  

The filaments represent the crown of thorns, 

the 10 petals and sepals represent the  

10 faithful apostles present at the crucifixion,  

the top 3 stigmata represent the  

3 nails used to nail Christ to the cross,  

the lower anthers represent the  

5 wounds (4 by nails and 1 by lance)  

the pointed leaves represent the lance  

and the tendrils represent the whips.

       Bring the kids anytime between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to play in the greenhouse and learn how to plant a tree! In honor of Arbor Day, one native plant seedling per family will be given out while supplies last.

Bark for Life
