Time for FUN FACTS!! 
The world's biggest snowflake fell on January 28, 1887, in Ft. Keogh, Montana. It was 15 inches across and 8 inches thick!
The record for the most snow fall in a 24 hour period in the United States happened in Silver Lake, Colorado in 1921. During that 24 hour period, six feet and four inches of snow fell--which is the height of a very tall man!
The highest snowfall ever recorded in a one year period was 31.1 meters (1224 inches, or 102 feet) in Mount Rainier, Washington State, United States, between February 19, 1971 and February 18, 1972.
