Volunteers Needed!
|
KidSpree: We need volunteers for our 17th Annual KidSpree on July 28, 2013! Volunteers will help deserving kids shop for much needed back-to-school clothing at Kohl's in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. Fingerprinting is required for all volunteers at least two weeks before the event and is free thanks to the SLO County YMCA. Download our interest form or email kidspree@unitedwayslo.org to sign up. Also, don't forget you can sponsor a child for this amazing experience for $100!
Stuff the Bus: From August 2-9, we need your help to literally Stuff the Bus with school supplies at Office Max in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, and Paso Robles. Email stuffthebus@unitedwayslo.org

Youth Board Accepting Applications
The United Way Youth Board is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 Board. The Youth Board is a unique volunteer experience that gives youth the control and responsibility of their projects. Students serve as a United Way Board of Directors and are given the opportunity to make a direct impact on their peers by addressing the needs of their community. Board members must live in San Luis Obispo County, be high school age, and commit to attending one meeting each month.
Learn more about the program and download an application online at www.unitedwayslo.org/youthboard. Questions and applications can be submitted to youthboard@unitedwayslo.org.
