The Economist Intelligence Unit, a division of the Economist Magazine, just released a report of the perspectives of real estate and construction executives with respect to energy  efficiency and the regulatory environment. Information is sourced from a survey of executives in the US, Europe, China and India. 

 

Several insights are offered, including that longer payback periods are becoming more acceptable.
