5rd Annual All - County Middle School  Art Show & Awards Reception  
April 3rd

You are invited to the opening of the All-County Middle School Art Show during First Friday Art Walk on April 3 from 5-9 pm at the St. Augustine Art Association.
There will be a reception at 7 pm to recognize the winners of the St. Augustine Art Association's Spring Members Show and the 2015 All-County Middle School Art Awards.

A Message from the St. Augustine Lighthouse

We have launched a 30 day campaign through the crowd-funding site
to raise $50,000 toward painting and preserving our historic lighthouse tower. Donation levels range from $10 to $10,000, with different reward perks designated for each level including private ghost tours and exclusive access to the tower's lens room.

Anyone interested in donating to assist with the campaign can visit

  any time over the next 30 days to make a contribution and claim their perks. St. Augustine residents can also keep an eye out for paint buckets located in select community businesses where donations will be accepted as well.


Auditions for Hello Dolly on April 6

SAVE THE DATE - Auditions will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, April 6 for Hello, Dolly, which will be staged June 5 through July 5, 2015 (no performance on July 4). Roles will be announced soon. The musical will be directed by Blake Osner.

 The Hardee Center for the Arts in Madison, Florida is calling for entries for the 2015/16 exhibition season. They are welcoming submissions of all 2D and small 3D works. AiOP welcomes proposals and artworks that engage and collaborate with the public and public spaces from artists of all disciplines, experiences and mediums. Call to Artists for Third Annual Knoxville Photo 2015 in Knoxville, TN (Deadline: April 26)

The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville announces a call for photographic works for its third annual Knoxville Photo 2015. Approximately 40-50 photographic works from both emerging and established artists will comprise the exhibition in the main gallery of the Emporium Center from June 5-17, 2015. Entries must be original works completed within the last two years in the following categories: The Human Experience, Our Earth, Travel, and Digital Imagination. Romanza's 2015 Scholarships will be awarded to two graduating seniors enrolled at St. Augustine High School or the St. Johns County Center of the Arts who plan to major in performing arts at the college level.  Two $500 scholarships will be awarded this year, and students should contact their Counselor if they are interested in obtaining an Application.

National Endowment for the Humanities' Preservation and Access Education and Training Grants (Deadline: May 5)

  Preservation and Access Education and Training grants are awarded to organizations that offer national or regional (multistate) education and training programs. Grants aim to help the staff of cultural institutions, large and small, obtain the knowledge and skills needed to serve as effective stewards of humanities collections. Aaron Siskind Foundation Invites Applications for 2015 
Individual Photographer's Fellowships (Deadline: May 29)

The Aaron Siskind Foundation is accepting applications for its 2015 Individual Photographer's Fellowships program. The annual program encourages and celebrates artistic achievement in contemporary photography by supporting the creative endeavors of artists working in photography and photo-based art media. A limited number of fellowship grants of up to $10,000 each will be awarded to artists working in photography and photo-based art. Qualified applicants must provide a portfolio of still photography of any subject matter, genre, or process. For more info and to apply, visit here
