Volunteer Day Project Swing Park
The Rotary Club of Coastal St. Johns is having a Rotary volunteer day at Project Swing Park. The park was built by the community 17 years ago and is currently maintained by the City of St. Augustine. However, the park needs a spruce up. One aspect of the project is to repaint the large pieces of art work on the play ground. Please consider joining in on the project. They would love to have local artists spend a morning or afternoon and repaint these pieces of art. They will cover all the materials and paint for the painters. One exciting piece of news is that the Ketterlinus Elementary School after school program is very interested in having their students paint the numerous placards that are along the fence. So not only are they sprucing up the playground they are promoting and fostering the art with our local youth.
