Auditions April 6 for Hello, Dolly
Limelight Theatre
Auditions for Hello, Dolly will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, April 6 at Limelight Theatre, 11 Old Mission Ave., uptown St. Augustine. Performances will be June 4-July 5, 2015 on the Matuza Main Stage. The musical will be directed by Blake Osner.
The role of Dolly is pre-cast. All other roles are open to audition. There are 4 principal female roles, 4 principal male roles, plus a singing/dancing ensemble from which numerous supporting roles will be cast.
Bring headshot, resume, and be prepared to perform cold readings from the script. Actors should bring 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway song, with sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No recorded tracks. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for movement.

ROMANZA OFFERS HIGH SCHOOL APPLICANTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PERFORMING ARTS
Deadline: May 1, 2015
Romanza's 2015 Scholarships will be awarded to two graduating seniors enrolled at St. Augustine High School or the St. Johns County Center of the Arts who plan to major in performing arts at the college level. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded this year, and students should contact their Counselor if they are interested in obtaining an Application.

MARCH 23, 2015 Auditions at 7:00pm at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall (small building) for "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" by Nora Ephran and Delia Ephron based on the book by Elene Beckerman Director: Anne Kraft 5 Women, 30 years old +, all sizes, all body types. Bring a picture and resume (small photo is ok) You will be asked to read from the script. If you have a favorite piece, you may also read that. New! Call to Performers for Art in Odd Places 2015 (Deadline: May 15)
Art in Odd Places (AiOP) Orlando invites proposals for the Orlando AiOP, a visual and performance public art festival to take place on September 17-20 in downtown Orlando, Florida. Call To Artists!

Anyone (any age, any background) can participate. We'll supply the canvas. Paint it, collage it, whatever... come out of your shell! Entry forms and canvases can be picked up at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery or at The Red Sable Art Supply, 1333 Old Dixie Hwy, Suite 5, St. Augustine. Each canvas measures 8" x 8". Works created with materials other than the canvas supplied must conform to the same 8" x 8" dimensions. The cost is $10 per entry and includes the canvas. All entries must be received at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery not later than March 27, 2015 and will be carefully hung in our incubation room for our April First Friday Art Walk Eggstravaganza!
It will be your choice to sell or not to sell. Butterfield Garage will handle all sales and will keep a 10% fee for hatching and cackling about the idea, and for preparing the nest. Entry forms available online CLICK HERE

CALLING THE ARTS COMMUNITY
Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (FOSAA) invites members of the arts community to participate in its Second Annual Children's Arts Festival on Sunday, May 17th, from 10 A.M. - 3 PM at the Amphitheatre. This is a free, interactive event that will take place rain or shine.

Call to Artists for Third Annual Knoxville Photo 2015 in Knoxville, TN (Deadline: April 26)
The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville announces a call for photographic works for its third annual Knoxville Photo 2015. Approximately 40-50 photographic works from both emerging and established artists will comprise the exhibition in the main gallery of the Emporium Center from June 5-17, 2015. Entries must be original works completed within the last two years in the following categories: The Human Experience, Our Earth, Travel, and Digital Imagination. Aaron Siskind Foundation Invites Applications for 2015 Individual Photographer's Fellowships (Deadline: May 29)
The Aaron Siskind Foundation is accepting applications for its 2015 Individual Photographer's Fellowships program. The annual program encourages and celebrates artistic achievement in contemporary photography by supporting the creative endeavors of artists working in photography and photo-based art media. A limited number of fellowship grants of up to $10,000 each will be awarded to artists working in photography and photo-based art. The World of Children Award (Deadline: April 1)
The World of Children Award program was created to recognize individuals who make a difference in the lives of children in the United States and across the globe, regardless of political, religious, or geographical boundaries. The Education Award recognizes individuals making substantial contributions to children in the educational arena.
