PECO ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PECO Needs Your Help

Navigant, their program evaluation contractor is planning a new round of interviews with contractors and customers in March and April of 2014. If you are contacted with an interview request, we encourage you to participate. It's your chance to tell us whatyou like about the program, or what recommendations for improvement you would make. PECO takes this feedback seriously and use it to make ongoing improvements.

PECO  Gas Rebates Continue in 2014

REMEMBER: Customers switching from electric heat are eligible for both the $200 conversion rebate AND the higher electric fuel switching rebates!

REMEMBER: Customers converting to natural gas are eligible for both the $200 conversion rebate AND the natural gas equipment rebates.

If you are adding new gas equipment to the system or would like a pressure increase for a customer, please be sure to call the Gas New Business department. It is very important that PECO verifies that the service and meter are adequate for the increase.

New Incentives Added to PECO Smart Home Rebates!
This year we have added:

* 15 SEER Central AC rebate - $200

* Natural gas fuel switch clothes dryer rebate - $150

* Pool pump rebate - $150

* High-efficiency furnace fan rebate that can be

combined with a furnace rebate - $100

Remember, there's a 90-day window to apply for the

PECO Smart Home Rebates after the products are installed.

Rebate application success tips:

  • Be sure to include model numbers for all installed components on the invoice (Condenser, Evaporator Coil, Furnace). When a rebate application is missing this information, the customer faces the challenge of gathering system model numbers
  • Be sure to provide your customers with the new system AHRI certificate number. This is critical for a positive program experience and is required on the rebate application
  • Include "PECO rebate" on your invoice
  • Be a hero - enter the rebate application for your customer online
  • A combo gas rebate application is now available covering conversion and equipment rebates.
  • Don't forget about the $100 rebate for the high efficiency furnace fan motor!
  • A new online contractor portal featuring single AHRI number input coming in April 2014
