President's Message

ADAO need s your HELP today! I am going to Congress next week to ensure our voices are heard. I will be telling Members of Congress and the media about our mesothelioma battles and how asbestos-caused diseases impact our families. Please call your U.S. House Representatives today, Monday, and Tuesday urging them to vote NO on "The Furthering Asbestos Claim Transparency (FACT) Act - H.R. 982."
Ink the date! The 2014 Asbestos Awareness Conference will be held on April 4-6 in Washington, D.C. Our 10th anniversary theme, "Where Knowledge and Action Unite," would not be possible without the courageous Mesothelioma Warriors who share their knowledge about the danger of asbestos, take action to raise awareness and push for an asbestos ban and unite to support others suffering through the same devastating illness -- all while struggling with the terrible symptoms of asbestos disease, literally fighting for their lives. Thanks to each of you for your generous donations of time and dollars supporting our conference. Please join us in thanking our 2013 ADAO Platinum Sponsors Baron and Budd, P.C., Motley Rice LLC. and Simmons Law Firm LLC., and Silver Sponsors Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Strauss and The Nemeroff Law Firm.
Our community has been saddened once again in the last two weeks to lose four courageous Meso Warriors - Dede, Tom, Doug and Peter. We grieve together, but we do not give up hope. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful to all of you who, with every breath, continue the fight for a world free from asbestos.
Together, change is possible.
Linda
