RothKlal Perspectives: Kiruv Issue

There is a new issue of Klal Perspectives out and the subject is kiruv. The journal, which is available at www.klalperspectives.org, poses a set of  questions for its contributors to address about the current state of the kiruv movement and its prospects for the future. How confident we can be that kiruv efforts are succeeding? What is kiruv's goal (or goals) and how do we measure success? Are people less responsive to outreach today than in the past? What does the future look like, with rapidly declining Jewish identity? Kiruv leaders from across the range of organizations offer their views, including Roshei Yeshiva (Rav Sholom Kamenetsky and Rav Shaya Karlinsky), heads of major organizations (including Rabbi Avraham Edelstein and Rabbi Raphael Butler) and heads of specific organizations (including Rabbi Bentzi Epstein and Rabbi Eli Gewirtz) among many others. Read online or download PDFs in multiple formats.
