Greetings!
It's official. The elections are over and the holiday season is here. Right now. Today. This newsletter is all about results. We will do everything we can to help you produce as much printed ribbon as possible with as much ease as possible.
Two topics in this newsletter will help with that. For those of you who use our poly ribbon, check out the new Stabilizers. And for everyone who wants to import custom images, below is a tutorial on how to do that in the new software.
We'll be here to help throughout the holiday season with order fulfillment and printer assistance. Feel free to call but after hours and on weekends, it's always best to email. We watch for and respond to that even when we aren't in the office. |

New Product - Stabilizers | |
|
About 85% of the orders we receive include the purchase of our fabulous poly ribbon. With that type of volume we've gotten a lot of positive reviews. One problem, however, is the ribbon falling off the middle core. So of course we've created a solution!
Now available are cardboard Stabilizers that keep the ribbon in place. They have been designed to be reusable for a period of time just like the empty cores. Feedback from our testers is a thumbs up. So, if you print on our poly ribbon - check out the new Stabilizers. They are inexpensive and they work!

Adding Images | |
|
So you have a customer who wants to add their corporate logo or another image onto a ribbon. Here's how to do it.
GET THE IMAGE ONTO YOUR COMPUTER - This is the first step. Remember that the quality of the print is directly related to the quality of the graphic file. Get the largest and highest resolution file posssible. Acceptable files are BMP, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIF, and TIFF.
IMPORTING IMAGES INTO THE SOFTWARE - Once you have started a new design and entered in the ribbon width, click on the yellow "Add Image" button. Shown as (1). Then choose the folder called "My Graphics" and you will see a bar come up that reads "Import into My Graphics". Shown as (2). Click and Browse for the image in your computer. After selecting the image you can adjust the quality with a sliding bar. Make any adjustments you'd like and "IMPORT IMAGE". The image now resides in your software. Select the image and click "ADD". Shown as (3). It is now on your Design Board to use as you wish.
NEW FOLDER CATEGORIES - To make new folders, just click on the little file folder icon. Shown as (4) to the left of the Import "Import into My Graphics" bar. Here you can name folders anything you'd like and separate your images for easy reference.
That's it!
Here's to creative, unique and beautiful ribbons! |
