Coming Soon - How to Renew your DACA

If you are one of the many immigrant youth and young adults who applied for and were granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in the fall of 2012, you know that your two years of deferred action will be expiring soon.

Later this month U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) will be releasing a new form to use for DACA renewal applications. The form is not yet available, so you cannot apply to renew your DACA yet. More information.

As soon as the form is available, I will send a Legal Update with that information as well as other DACA resources.

Note: If you were one of the few youth who received your DACA from Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) between June 15 and August 15, 2012, you do not need to wait for the new form. Instead, follow these special instructions

Haiti TPS - There's Still Time!

The deadline to re-register for Haiti TPS was May 2, 2014, but USCIS has just announced that it will extend that deadline to
July 22, 2014. That means, if you are from Haiti and have TPS, you still have time to file your application. See USCIS' instructions for how to apply.
