Ruchi G'viati
Sundays 9:30 - 10:45 a.m., November 6, December 4, January 8, April 2 No pre-registration required.
Ruchi G'viati is a holistic experience that teaches timeless strategies drawn from Jewish tradition for caring for your mind, body, and soul. This dynamic series of workshops is based on music, contemplative meditation, Torah study, psychological thought, and gentle Yoga. Facilitated by Cantor Hollis Schachner, Dr. Randy Kamen Gredinger, and Holly Friedman Glick, LICSW, RYT.

The Temple Shir Tikva Center for Jewish Spirituality is pleased to bring yoga to our congregation and to the TST Early Learning Center community.
Classes are being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:15 -10:15 a.m.
Classes are $18 per class (Tuesdays through November 22 and Thursdays through December 15 (class will not meet on November 24)

Election Results Viewing and Discussion
You are invited to join a special LLAIC discussion of election results as they happen .
LLAIC is the lifelong learning organization that has been utilizing space at Temple Shir Tikva for its courses, meetings and special events.
Harriet Janel-Starrett, a long time LLAIC course leader will lead us in discussion in an Election Night Carnival as we enjoy pizza, delicious desserts and watch the election returns as they come in.

TST Social
It is time for another TST Social, open to ALL adults at the temple. This month we will be introducing Mah Jongg to the games due to popular demand. So, come on out for an hour or two with friends from the temple to join in fun conversation and friendly competition.

Piyyutim
Piyyutim are ancient and modern sacred Hebrew poems. Through piyyutim, we can explore the human voice as conduit for contemplative practice, combining the beauty of Jewish liturgical poetry with soulful chanting. We will explore the lives of the poets and their writings through study of their cultural and historical contexts while developing the practice of chanting. Co-taught by Harry Abadi and Cantor Hollis Schachner.

The David Passer Annual Social Justice Lecture was created in 2014 as a special fund at Temple Shir Tikva to honor our friend and former Executive Director David Passer, of blessed memory.
Learners' Shabbat: V'shamru: Keeping Shabbat or Praying on Shabbat followed by Pot-Luck Dinner December 2, 6:15 p.m.
A special Shabbat Service with Learning about the Prayers Built-In!!
Through the inspiration of our Interfaith Committee, we are pleased to offer a monthly Learners' Shabbat, during which Rabbi Kohn, Cantor Schachner and Lev Friedman, our Rabbinic Intern, will explore with us meanings and possibilities of a specific prayer.
We'll all go home with a richer appreciation and understanding of the prayer service, and of that particular prayer! More information to follow!
Mah Jongg for Beginners

We know a lot of women in our community play - if you have ever wondered what the "bams, cracks, and dots" were all about, we are ready to introduce you to the game enjoyed by generations of Jewish Women. No experience necessary!
It is strongly recommended you attend all 4 classes, if possible.
