TST Annual Fund - Match Challenge Has Been Met!
There are 21 Days Left to Donate

Thanks to all of our members who have shown their support of the TST Annual Fund this year. We are thrilled to report that we met our MATCH CHALLENGE by raising $25,000 in new and increased donations to the Annual Fund. We are so very grateful for this extraordinary show of support from our sacred community. We are moving in a positive direction, as 42% of our members have donated to the Annual Fund this fiscal year. We still need to raise another $20,000 to meet our goal of raising $275,000 by June 30, 2016.
Just click on this link and help us to have 100% participation in the TST Annual Fund.
Congregation Self-Study Results Available
Fifteen meetings, one congregational survey, more than 300 participants - all contributed to the Congregation Self-Study conducted this spring to collect the voices of our congregation and provide input to the Rabbi Search Committee.  All the information has been consolidated, organized and analyzed, and a PowerPoint was presented at the Annual Meeting on June 6 by Judy Kaye, Chairperson of the Rabbi Search Committee.  The themes and messages are clear and aligned among many diverse groups that make up our congregation.  The Rabbi Search Committee will use the information to create the application that will attract candidates for our Senior Rabbi position.

You can view the presentation on the Temple Shir Tikva website, in the members-only password protected section or click below on the direct link. Spend some time understanding the priorities and characteristics identified for our new Senior Rabbi through the Self-Study. Learn the community values and characteristics that describe our congregation now and going forward.

Adult Education Presents: Jews From Far Flung Places
Wednesday, June 15, 7:00 p.m.
Temple Shir Tikva is blessed with a community comprised of Jews from many countries. Most of us, however, have more curiosity than knowledge about the history, culture, traditions and religious practices of Jews from lands far away. This program, led by six members of our Shir Tikva community, seeks not only to satisfy your curiosity, but also to broaden your knowledge and deepen your understanding of these aspects of Jewish life in Africa and Eastern Europe.

This week our guest congregant-speaker will be Harry Abadi speaking about Egypt.

There will be no charge for this program.
