Rabbi Recognition and Chanukah Shabbat
December 11, 2015, 6:15 p.m.

Please join us to honor Rabbi Gold and celebrate Chanukah.
Our Simchat Shabbat service will honor and recognize Rabbi Gold's ten years of service to the Temple Shir Tikva community. Simchat Shabbat will be followed by our annual fun filled Chanukah Oneg.
Please bring your Menorahs and candles so we can create the warm glow of Chanukah lights together. The collective effect of community lights brings warmth and comfort in this winter season of cold and darkness. Of course there will be plenty of food, including a dairy meal, a latke bar and homemade desserts.

Honor Rabbi Gold's 10 years of service to Temple Shir Tikva

Many have asked how to put your personal touch on recognizing Rabbi Gold's work in our TST community.  Here's the best way - at the request of Rabbi Gold we have set up a tzedakah fund to raise money for INTRA - the Israel National Therapeutic Riding Association. We will be accepting donations until December 31 for this great cause.

The Israel National Therapeutic Riding Association (INTRA) is a non-profit organization committed to teaching equine skills and horseback riding to people with a wide variety of disabilities. INTRA is a 'challenged-learner' centered therapeutic riding center that provides expert and loving therapy and support for all of its riders, while providing expert professional training for its practitioners, and proper, loving care of its horses.

Donations are being accepted for the rest of 2015.

Tikkun Olam: Gift Card Drive
Dedicate one night of Chanukah to Family Promise Metrowest- Gift Card Drive

Housing, feeding and supporting families who are homeless 365 days and nights a year is quite an undertaking. This Chanukah season, let's make it a little easier for the folks at Family Promise Metrowest to supply everyday items the families need.

Please consider donating a gift card to Target, CVS, Rite Aid, or Stop & Shop. These contributions will help Family Metrowest supply the families with toiletries, laundry supplies, and other items commonly used in the day center.

Please drop gift cards in the box at the temple office any day throughout Chanukah, Sunday, December 6 - Sunday, December 13. Let's try to raise $500 in gift cards as our Chanukah gift to Family Promise Metrowest.
