Would you like to join another family for Passover?  Do you have room at your seder table for additional guests?

Passover is a holiday meant to be shared.  The Interfaith Working Group would like to help bring families together who are looking to celebrate Passover with others, and strengthen connections in our Shir Tikva community.

We are looking for:

-  Guests who would like to join the Seder table of a community member.

- Hosts who are willing to add one or more chairs to their seder table

If the title doesn't tell you enough, here's a description of what's in store.

"Old Jews Telling Jokes is inspired by the website OldJewsTellingJokes.com, and features both brand new and satisfyingly old songs and jokes. If you've ever had a mother, visited a doctor, or walked into a bar with a priest, a rabbi and a frog, Old Jews Telling Jokes will sit in the dark, give you a second opinion, and ask you where you got that."

If you would like to meet for dinner before the show, we can gather at TRYST, 689 Mass. Ave. in Arlington (very close to the theater) at 5:45PM. Dinner is at your own expense. Please let us know if you are joining us for dinner so we can reserve seating at the restaurant.

College Scholarship Funds Available for Greater Boston Residents

BOSTON, MA, February 27, 2015- The Combined Jewish Philanthropies Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for financial aid for the 2015-2016 academic year. The Committee awards financial assistance to financially needy undergraduate students whose permanent address is in a CJP service community.

Aid is in the form of a grant or an interest-free loan. The average award is $3000.Awards are based on documented financial need.

The deadline for applications is April 30, 2015 for upperclassmen and May 15, 2015 for Fall 2014 freshman.
