Miracle Kitchen - Serving Food Christmas Week

Tuesday, December 23, from 4:15 - 7 p.m.

Temple Shir Tikva will be preparing and serving food for the Miracle Kitchen located at 34-35 Concord Street, Framingham.

The Miracle Kitchen is operated by the Salvation Army in downtown Framingham. They serve dinner every weekday evening for 60-100 people in need.

During the Christmas holiday Temple Shir Tikva is going to take over for St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Wellesley. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church serves dinner the 4^th Tuesday of every month.

We need people to make large amounts of food to feed dinner to 100 people. The goal is to make food that "sticks to your ribs." We will all make shepherd's pie.

Family Promise at TST is almost here. There are still many opportunities to participate.

Once you have signed up you will receive regular emails about needs still unmet while the families are with us.  You can volunteer for a particular need such as cooking a meal, being an overnight host, a greeter or doing laundry.  If you choose to you can also help us with supplies needed for our hosting by purchasing gift cards to the following stores:

Stop and Shop, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target or a Visa Gift Card.

Please drop off with Toni in the Temple office by December 15.^th      We will use these gift cards to purchase supplies, bedding and food.

TST Chosen Run's Men's Softball 

We invite you to join the TST Chosen Runs men's softball team. We are always looking for new players. We need commitment early this year - the league requires signups by January 4. The season runs from mid-April through June, 2015. The games are on Sundays at 10 a.m., and we play shuls from around the region.

You must be a member of Shir Tikva or the son of a member, and must be 25 or older. We have a lot of fun, and everyone gets to play. If you are interested, contact team coach Steve Safran at steviesaf@gmail.com.
