Clean out your closets today and donate your gently used outerwear to Shir Tikva's Winter Clothing Drive.  Adults and children housed in local shelters are desperately in need of coats, jackets, parkas, snowsuits, fleeces, hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, and boots.

Bring your donated items to the Temple (no ski equipment, please) between now and November 23 and arrange them neatly in the bins located outside the office.

Parenting Salon with Max Klau

Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m. (Come at 6 for a bite to eat with our teens!)

November 12, December 3, January 7, February 4, March 11, April 1, May 6

Facilitated by Dr. Max Klau, Powered by You

Connect monthly with other parents of teens in a gathering designed to explore the blessings and challenges of parenting.  This will NOT be a lecture or training experience, in which participants passively receive knowledge or skills from an "expert". Rather, it will be a space for reflection and discussion in which parents can explore their parenting challenges with fellow congregants in a space devoted to learning (not to problem solving).

What do participants have to say?

"The Parenting Salon on Wednesday night with Max Klau was not what I expected- and that made it great! It is much more than just an opportunity for TST parents to get to know each other. Max, an experienced facilitator, lead the discussion which is part personal reflection, part sharing and part community building. I will definitely put it on my calendar to participate monthly!"
