The fruit of love is service.  The fruit of service is peace.  And peace begins with a smile.  -Mother Teresa

Friends of Global Service Partnerships,

An exciting year of new developments lies ahead!

Just a week ago, our co-founder, Kelli Soll, moved to Belize to perform ongoing development work in our service communities.  Read more about Kelli's move in the Idaho Statesman article.

We are establishing deeper roots with our lodging partner: Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a Belizean nonprofit education and training center.  With Kelli now housed at Monkey Bay, we are developing sustainable community collaborations with  neighboring schools and villages.

A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart ...

We would like to sincerely thank our teachers who have so successfully guided and inspired our student travelers and global citizens through their service experience.

Attention:  teachers!

Northwest Professional Educators (NWPE) provides professional support and career protection for the educators of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.  All educators are eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship to pursue our professional development and service learning opportunity.  Please see NWPE's website for more details.

"The whole experience was so much more than working on literacy.  Both we and the Belizean children learned so much about each other, about ourselves and about the gifts, opportunities, advantages and disadvantages that each of our cultures provide to us.  Because Belize's national language is English, we were able to interact directly with everyone there, which really helped us get to know them well.  We bonded so much with these kids that the hardest part of the whole experience was leaving!"
