Dear Library Member,
Start your summer fun on Saturday, June 18 at the Library with the Summer Reading Kickoff! From 11 am until 2 pm there will be special activities and fun for all ages. At 11 am, Rock 'n' Roll Mother Goose will take children on a wild ride with a high octane performance filled with audience participation. All program attendees will receive a free ice cream courtesy of Friendly's of Old Bridge! JEI Learning Center of Old Bridge has donated a 466-piece LEGO Creator set and a JEI gift certificate valued at over $125 which you can win at our raffle on June 18 at 2 pm! You must be present to win.
During and after the performance there will be crafts and creation activities for all ages. Sign up that day for the Summer Reading Club to easily earn prizes all summer including summer reading finale grand prizes! This year we have a special treat outside the Library too - several fantastic classic cars from the 1950's and 1960's will be on display courtesy of Kroozin' Productions! Stop by and look them over.

If that's not enough to look forward to, there are other great classes and events this week. Just a few program highlights:
Get the most out of Facebook, the massively popular social media site. Learn what to look for when reviewing your settings, separate your personal & professional lives, create likeable content, and more! No registration required for Facebook Class on Monday at 4 pm.
School's almost over, so let's celebrate summer! Come join us as we MAKE colorful leis and other tropical crafts in the spirit of Aloha on Maker Monday at 7 pm for tweens. July's theme will be Harry Potter to celebrate his birthday and the release of a new Rowling book! Registration suggested. Each week the skill level changes according to the age group attending.
Support the community by giving the precious gift of blood on Wednesday at the Library's Blood Drive from 1-6:45 pm. Blood supplies are extremely low right now and your donation will help save lives. No appointment necessary.
Mr. Henry B. Meisel will recount his amazing experiences in Shanghai, China during World War II and will screen the award-winning documentary, Shanghai Ghetto. The documentary explains how thousands of European Jews fled the Nazis for safety in Shanghai and how they managed to survive in that city. Sunday at 2 pm.
Have a spectacular week. See you in the Library!
