Dear Library Member,

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about our 2016 Summer Reading Program starting Saturday, June 18 with a fabulous kickoff!  Advance literacy while having fun!

Leah Chevalier, yoga teacher and guided meditation coach, will instruct and guide you in stress reduction methods you can easily incorporate into your daily routine.  Join us on Tuesday at 7 pm to improve the quality of your life.

On Wednesday at 6 pm, Licensed Occupational Therapist and breast cancer survivor, Janice Woerner, will help you prepare for a mastectomy, at our program, Get Ready for the New You.  Ms. Woerner, a breast cancer survivor herself, will provide tips on preparing for your hospital stay. She will help you have the easiest recovery possible.

Is your resume a bit blah?  Design something more eye-catching, interactive and engaging with free online tools at Online Resume Tools on Wednesday at 7 pm.

Just in time for the Memorial Holiday Weekend, learn how to enjoy a healthy summer on Friday at 11:30 am at Sun Sensational Facts.  Presenter Michelle Golba-Norek, RN BSN from Meridian Health's Community Health Education, will provide information on how to protect your skin and stay healthily hydrated during the summer months.

Whether you love noodles cooked in sauce, spicy enchiladas or delicious vegetable curries, the Yummm, Food program is for you.  Kids, come listen to books featuring food themes and then  create fruit sushi, made with bananas & strawberries.  If you have any food allergies please let us know.  This program will be offered at Central on Wednesday at 4 pm and at the Laurence Harbor branch on Tuesday at 4 pm.

Have a spectacular week.  See you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
